Training Requirements
Update: The College of Medicine IT department is pleased to announce that we are now accepting Banner Health’s HIPAA training. If you are a Banner Health member, you are no longer required to take the University of Arizona’s HIPAA training. Check out our news article: https://medicineit.arizona.edu/hipaa-training-update
We need your help! Security training is critical because cyber threats abound in our always-connected work environments. What’s more, threats are continually changing and the common thread for some of the most significant threats today is people. We need to equip ourselves with the knowledge in order to combat these evolving threats. We invite you to take a look at the pieces of training that are required from the Information Security Office as well as the HIPAA Privacy Program at the University of Arizona.
